Power in Numbers
Wisconsin has more USA Water Ski & Wake Sports members than any other state and more than twice as many as Florida, which has the second-most members. Wisconsin Water Ski Federation members represents 18% of the total USA Water Ski & Wake Sports membership and over 36% of its members with NSS (show ski) designation as their primary sport discipline. The WWSF is highly-respected for its leadership at all levels of the sport and is well-known for producing world-class water skiing events.

Promotes water safety and water competence.
Promotes good sportsmanship through teamwork, playing fair, treating each other with respect, and learning to win and lose with dignity.
Provides unified representation in regional and national water skiing organizations.
Serves as a portal for statewide water skiing event information and news.
Supports and funds education and skills instruction and communicates opportunities for both.
Allocates funds to each recognized sport discipline in support of education initiatives, membership development, participation, and recognition.
Funds a grant program to subsidize individual and team requests for travel, entry fees, equipment, training, and ski site improvement.
Serves as a conduit for grass roots support for waterways access and other issues.
Sponsors and certifies state championships and, for show skiing, the regional qualifier for the Division I Show Ski National Championships.
Recognizes individual contributions to the sport of water skiing in the State of Wisconsin by way of the Wisconsin Water Ski Hall of Fame.
Maintains historical records pertaining to water skiing participation and competition in Wisconsin.
Produces annually the Think Tank Water Ski Convention & Expo, the largest and longest-running event of its kind.
Offers members occasional discounts and arranges for group buys from manufacturers and suppliers of water ski equipment.
Facilitates the sharing of information among teams for growing membership, improving communications, fundraising, and team management.
